Looking for a summer camp in Vaughan, Ontario? Located near Woodbridge, Concord and just north of Toronto, Axis Freestyle camps are perfect for kids and teens ages 6-16. PA day camps, Summer camps, March break camps and Holiday camps are available. Our day camps are perfect for you to spend those off school days to get in Dryslope time and to stay active. Axis Freestyle offers campers a fun, unique and engaging learning experience different from any other camps in the Greater Toronto Area. Rain or shine, campers have everything they need to progress their freestyle skills!
Axis Freestyle's Ski and Snowboard camps offer riders of all ages and skill, from those just beginning to advanced riders. Coaches and staff provide supervision and work together to ensure a fun, positive and safe atmosphere catered to the progression of skiing and snowboarding. We will introduce fundamentals and riders have the opportunity to work on the basics of freestyle or learn new and more technical tricks in our indoor terrain park.
This is your opportunity to turn a fun hobby into an enduring passion! Axis Freestyle has everything you need to advance your snowboarding and skiing skills, your progression here never stops!
All participants MUST have AND bring their own equipment: ski/snowboard, boots & bindings. Helmets are MANDATORY to use the dryslope
Have your child bring an extra change of clothes (or two) and also sweaters/long pants for non active times in the gym. You can also send them with a sleeping bag if they happen to need a rest period. Feel free to bring your homework to complete and those that do homework during the camp session will earn points towards swag!
We want to promote sport activity but also academic excellence.
Summer 2017 camps will be running every week starting July 3rd, 2017 to September 1st, 2017.
Drop-In's are available during camp days if your child(ren) are not able to stay for the full day
8:30am - 9:00am - Arrival
Drop off time for your athlete. Early Drop off is available for an additional $10/Hour. Please ensure you your athlete has breakfast before heading to our camps.
9:00am - 10:00am - SNOga(stretching)
We want to help you stay flexible to reduce the risk of injury and so you can tweak out your tricks! Gear up after and get ready for training.
10:00am -12:30pm - Dryslope Training
Get ready to sweat! Dryslope training will harness your on snow skills as we practice all aspects of jibbing and jumping through out the session time.
12:30pm - 2:00pm - Lunch
Charge up time! Nutrition is key to a balanced lifestyle. Please pack a healthy lunch that does not contain peanuts
2:00pm - 4:30pm - Trampoline Training
The afternoon will be filled with aerial awareness training. You will learn the fundamentals of flips, rotations and be able to use our trampoline training boards.
4:30pm - 5:00pm - End of day Free time
Pick up time for your athlete. Late pick up is available for an additional $10/Hour.
