There are three 7’x 4’ fly-beds and a 10’x10’ square trampoline, between them is our 20’x20’ foam pit. The framing was updated during the build to provide a safer while more progressive environment, giving a variety of features and opportunities to expand your trick list. The tramp setup will allow you to; learn board/ski and body control, where to look when you spin, how to spot your landing, work on your grabs, understand rotation, practice jibs & stalls. We’ve got different training equipment for you to help you dial it all in safely. Designed for Trampolining for all levels!
We’ve specifically designed the trampoline zone to simulate on snow scenarios, while also giving the area parkour like obstacles. You can practice in a safe environment encased in foam to master all the tricks on your list.
Learning on your own or playing with friends, The aerial area can support any learning style. From learning backflips to mastering your corks, Axis Freestyle is not only a facility but also a centre of positive vibes to share the love of progression.
A bridge way across the tramp zone was put in place to help you with tricks like; miller-flips, stalls, hand drags and as an obstacle to stall on or even clear completely . Its a great place to hang out, catch your breath and enjoy the view of other jumpers or the facility. With three 7x14 olympic trampolines surrounding the Bridge, the parkour like feature is designed to test your athletic ability and to allow your creative side to flow. Under the elevated platform is two openings, used to travel across the area but also can be used as a small hideout during your downtime from jumping.
That's right a foamed jib! May not make much sense at first but the foamed jib curbs provide a soft feature to train your balance and technical tricks. With the Snowboard Addiction trampoline training snowboard(see below) you can start small then advance at your own pace to help you dial in those tricks, like; 270’s and 360’s onto a foam jib. This feature makes tacos and other potential risky bails more forgiving than attempting on steel rails first. These Jibs and Jams give you a realistic experience so training here translates onto snow!
The trampoline area has over 2500 square feet of vertical wall space meaning TONS of room for wall rides and runs. A great feature for parkour style flips and runs, the wall becomes another obstacle with the right frame of mind. Practice tricks ranging from gentle wall taps up and down, to giant runs across the wall leaping into the foam pit.
Beside the 10x10 square trampoline is an elevated deck. Great for coaches to view and provide feedback to the athletes, hence the name ‘The Coach's Deck’. The deck is 6 feet above the foam pit making it a feature used to practice tricks or simply dive into the pit. This area also has the option for stalls and hand plants.
We’ve partnered with another group of young entrepreneurs out of Whistler, BC to provide you with the best snowboard training equipment on the market. They have set the standard for snowboard training boards and AFA is the first to retail them in Ontario!
The trampoline training boards were specially designed to elevate your progression, with a foam base to prevent sliding on the tramp, but also to prevent damage during your practice sessions.
